George T. Veinoglou, M.D., F.A.C.S.

 

An avid gardener and a passionate cook, also enjoys skiing and traveling. A native of Greece, he received his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, in 1979, coming to Berkshire Medical Center as a surgical intern in 1982. After completing his residency at the Pittsfield hospital, Dr. Veinoglou joined Berkshire Surgical Associates in 1987. The father of two grown children, Amy and Nicholas, he lives with his wife Sophia in Great Barrington. A Board Certified Surgeon, Dr. Veinoglou works out of our south county office in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, and serves as Chief of the Department of Surgery at nearby Fairview Hospital.
